About Us

MY STORY

iCelebrateU is a women-owned, veteran-based business that I founded after serving ten years in the Air Force. My career in the military was incredibly fulfilling. I had premature twin boys while serving in the military, who spent their first year of life in neonatal ICU, defying the odds and surviving despite many complications. To properly ensure their survival, I chose not to reenlist.

Following an honorable discharge, I married a wonderful man who taught me to enjoy every moment. We shared 20 beautiful years filled with laughter, love, and many special moments. Tragically, he was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis and passed away in 2017 due to complications from the disease. The memories we made together have become even more special and priceless after his passing, inspiring me to cherish every moment and to not allow those special moments to be taken for granted, but to relish and luxuriate in each one. This is why I created iCelebrateU.

Through it all—the many health complications of my sons and the passing of my husband—I have come to the realization that every special moment should be celebrated to the fullest. The tough times have made me deeply grateful for every occasion. They taught me that life is too precious and too short to be taken for granted. When our time in this life is done, there are no do-overs, so it's important to get it right the first time. My personal motto is "Carpe Diem," which means "seize the day" in Latin.
